I woke up at 6am and took a shower. Today is a day a friend will come to my house. I can't wait to meet her and make some food. It's been a while i meet someone and talk with them because of quarantine. I hope me and my friend have a great day today.
오전 6시에 일어나서 샤워를 했다. 오늘은 친구가 우리 집에 오기로 한 날이다. 얼른 그녀를 만나서 음식을 만들고 싶다. 격리 때문에 누군가를 만나서 얘기한 것이 오랜만이다. 나랑 친구가 오늘 즐거운 하루를 보내면 좋겠다.
Today is a day a friend will come to my house. / Today a friend will come over. / Today a friend will come visit.
To say when something happens, you can just put the time at the beginning or the end of a sentence.
"I exercised this morning."
"Yesterday I made soup."
I can't wait to mseet her and make some food.
"Meet" is correct but "see" sounds more natural. To me, "meet" is more suitable when both people are traveling. "I met my friend at the library." "Meet" is also used when you meet someone for the first time.
IBecause of the quarantine, it's been a while isince I meet someone and talked with them because of quarantine.
All verbs need to be in past tense.
To be honest I'm not sure why I want to put "because of the quarantine" at the beginning of the sentence. I just know it sounds better to me.
I hope me and my friend and I have a great day today.

To me at least, saying you can't wait to meet someone sounds like you're meeting for the very first time. Maybe "I can't wait to meet with her" would also be a possible alternative, but I prefer "can't wait to see" here.

"today is a day ..." describes the day itself. examples: "today is a good day", "today is a day unlike any other".
In this sentence, you aren't describing the day, but describing something that will happen during that day.

since the quarantine is a specific event happening right now, it's better to call it "the quarantine".
side note: If you were referring to any quarantine ever, you'd call it "a quarantine"

This is a very common mistake that even gets made by native English speakers. People will understand you if you say "me and my friend", but it's correct to say "my friend and I"
