Hi everyone. I've just discovered this website. Anyone here ever used lang-8? It was once such a nice site to get feedback from native speakers. I used to be an active user there until its popularity waned, so I'm glad LangCorrect has come to fill the gap. So far, I'm in love with the simple yet nice design and the soft color palette chosen by the developers.
One of my New Year's resolutions is to write in my target languages more often. In order to accomplish my goal, I'll be trying to write at least a journal entry per week on different topics to force me to step out of my comfort zone. After Christmas break, I may find it harder to get round to it, but I'll do my best to keep it up.
I wish you a successful language learning journey!

You don’t need the “there” because you had just introduced the subject in the previous sentence so the reader knows what you’re talking about.

“ ‘round” is used in some but not all English dialects and I’m not sure if it’s grammatically correct, but in speech it would sound normal.
I wish you a successful language learning journey!

If the topics are going to force you - 'different topics that force...'
If it's the activity of writing - 'different topics to force myself...'
After Christmas break, I may find it harder to get around to it, but I'll do my best to keep it up.
I wish you a successful language learning journey!
Feedback
Welcome! And your writing is great. Your understanding of English is really strong. You've used both very specific vocabulary and common expressions better than native speakers that I know. Really good stuff!
