My white solid laptop

I needed to learn a new word to describe the current color of my laptop haha. It used to be silver, but over time the color was less pure somehow. Now, I feel as if something has mixed a few drops of brown into a surface that was once only silver. After Googling "shades of white", I realized that maybe "white solid" is a more appropriate description. Should I clean my laptop? Yes. Will its coat ever be silver again without me paying money for a paint job? Unlikely.

Am I saying it right? The color is "white solid" so if my laptop is in that color, my laptop is white solid and it is a white solid laptop.

My white solid laptop My white solid laptop

I've never heard "white solid" used as a color. Looking up "white solid", the only result I get is the name for a shade of white which is more *blue*, not brown. Which is the opposite of what you describe here.

What you've described sounds like beige. So your laptop is beige -- it is a beige laptop. Or maybe "light beige" if it's *really* faint. I'd recommend looking at images of the Commodore 64, since that's the beige color which is in my head right now. Kind of a very slightly brown white. I believe this is something which often happens to old computers, especially ones made with plastic. The white plastic gets old, and turns a light brown color -- a color which I call "beige". A quick internet search (I searched "What color is an old computer?") seems to confirm that I'm not the only one to use the word "beige" in this manner.

There isn't anything grammatically incorrect about this statement, but nevertheless, I'm confused about what you mean here.
