Fed

Today, I learned about the Fed. It is kind of complicated for non-native speakers because the Fed stands for three institutes: the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Reserve Board, and the Federal Reserve System. You have to decide which institute the Fed refers to depending on the context. How difficult it is.

It is kind of complicated for non-native speakers because the Fed stands for three instituteions: the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Reserve Board, and the Federal Reserve System.

This is a subtle difference. An institute is an organization that supports a cause or works towards a common goal. An institution is an established organization which serves a more general purpose. When we talk about banks, we call them "financial institutions."

You have to decide which instituteion the Fed refers to depending on the context.

Even I don't completely understand how the Fed works. The whole financial system is a very complicated topic!

["refers to" → "is referring to"] is also okay.

How difficult, isn't ist.

"How difficult is that?!" is also okay.

Very well written! I don't really know much about the Fed or any systems in general, so it may be complicated for me too!
