Good state
After going out such as going shopping and dining out for long hours, I took a shower and I am refreshed now. I don't want to lose this good state. So closing PC, I have to sleep temporarily. Good night.

"Go to sleep" means you sleep, how long you sleep doesn't matter. Usually you say it only for the 6 to 8 hour sleep you do every night though. It is like saying "I will temporarily go eat food." You cannot only temporarily eat food, you just eat however much you eat.
"take a nap" is the word for a short sleep that isn't the main sleep you do at the end of the day.

My image of a nap is one for very short period of time, at the most 2 or 3 hours especially in the midday or early afternoon. In my language, we can say temporary sleep, and go to eat temporarily, so I am not convinced.
