Expectation

I try to refrain as much as possible from expecting others to do what I want them to do. This is because expectations are usually betrayed, and make me deeply depressed. You may think that such a thing is not special and everyone practices it. However, everyone often refers to "common sense" or "manners" when accusing others of being disrespectful. In most cases, the extent of these meanings is vague and will vary depending on cultural differences or environment you grow up in.
I used to be hot-tempered when I was the representative of a small club in our university. I stopped expecting others at some point and some of my friends said that I had become kinder. To tell the truth, I am mean and indifferent to others. When I see some elderly men lost their controls in so much anger, I wonder why they can have a expectation on others. While they may simply want to release their frustration, they would also expect others to apologize or improve their behaviors by getting angry.

Expectation

I try to refrain as much as possible from expecting others to do what I want them to do.

This is because expectations are usually betrayed, and this makes me deeply depressed.

You may think that such a thing is not special and everyone practices it.

This sentence is kind of confusing. I would specify what “thing” and “it” are.

However, everyone often refers to "common sense" or "manners" when accusing others of being disrespectful.

In most cases, the extent of these meanings is vague and will vary depending on cultural differences or environment you grow up in.

I used to be hot-tempered when I was the representative of a small club in our university.

At some point, I stopped expecting others at some pointto (follow through/be true to their word/be dependable) and some of my friends said that I had become kinder.

I have moved “at some point” to flow better.

To tell the truth, I am mean and indifferent to others.

When I see some elderly men loste their controls in and have so much anger, I wonder whyhow they can have a expectation ons for others.

While they may simply want to release their frustration, they would also expect others to apologize or improve their behaviors by getting angry.

This sentence is also a little confusing. Adding “by getting angry” to the end of this sentence implies they expect others to get angry in order to apologize/improve their behavior. I think you might be trying to say “While they may simply want to release their frustration by getting angry, they would also expect others to apologize or improve their behaviors.”

"expecting others" means you expected them to come

To tell the truthbe honest, I am mean and indifferent to others.

more natural

When I see some elderly men losting their controls in so much anger, I wonder whyhow they can have a expectation ons from others.

to see + noun + present participle
to lose control (always singular)
to have expectations FROM + noun

While they may simply want to releasevent their frustration, they wouldmight also be expecting others to apologize or improve their behaviors by getting in response to their angery.

to vent frustration = natural fixed expression
to "improve their behavior by getting angry" sounds like getting angry is what is improving their behavior
