Exercise

Yesterday was the first time I exercised in a long time. I'm always saying that I want to work out at least three days a week but I never actually do it. I'm quite sedentary, as I sit around all day and almost never work out. The health app in my phone shows that I walk around five hundred steps a day. This is not at all healthy, so I've decided to take exercise more often.
However, I don't like working out because I get very tired really soon and I find it quite boring. Unfortunately, listening to music doesn't help much. I have a treadmill at home so I was thinking about using it while watching YouTube or Netflix. I'm also considering going on a walk every day or jumping rope at home, which seems more fun.
Tomorrow I'm going to set some goals regarding this and make a plan so as to achieve them.

Should I say "jump rope" or "skip rope"? I was taught to use "skip", but I saw "jump rope" more often on YouTube. I also don't know whether to use "phone", "smartphone", "cellphone" or "mobile phone". I would really appreciate it if you could help me with that.

Corrections

This is not at all healthy at all, so I've decided to take exercise more often.

Should I say "jump rope" or "skip rope"?

I'm personally more accustomed to "skip rope" but both are fine really.

I also don't know whether to use "phone", "smartphone", "cellphone" or "mobile phone".

Phone is the standard nowadays (i mean, who even uses regular phones anymore am i right?? 😂)

Feedback

Wow! This is very well written, congrats!
