When I was in elementary school and middle school, why did I study hard?
It seemed I had a weak body when I was a kid and I had to do some farm work. One farm work that strongly impressed me was pulling mills. Every time I do that, I always feel dizzy and vomit and those kinds of feelings are extremely horrible. So I thought I wasn’t qualified to be a farmer and if I did it, I would die for not producing enough food to eat. At that time, the only thing I could do to avoid being a farmer was study hard to get a job assigned by the nation. If I was growing up in the nineties, I probably would not have a good grade in school because I didn’t really have to. I could do a small business and work in a private enterprise for living and something like that, but in the early eighties, these kinds of livelihoods were all impossible. There are many limitations in a person’s life, including personal, historical and social. But anyway, I am satisfied with my current situations. It's hard to say whether it’s good or not, maybe it’s just ordinary. But this is enough. The plain and light life is a happy life.
