First off, I fixed the grammar up a little since there was a bunch of comma splices (connecting complete sentences with commas). Try not to abuse commas too much and be aware of when you use them to prevent this from happening. Also, I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean as it doesn't seem to relate all too much to the boat story. もし英語で説明しがたい場合、日本語を使ってもいいです。
