Eight Trigrams Boxing

While traveling in Mount Lu, one of my best friends showed me the Eight Trigrams Boxing which she practiced every morning.

We both had some little problems after getting COVID-19, but obviously, she recovered much better than me, even though I did so much to help myself.

So, I have started practicing the Eight Trigrams Boxing since the first day I returned to Shanghai.

It's amazing!

I feel so good and have a great spirit after boxing every day, and the most amazing part is that my heart rate stayed around 80 the whole time while I was sweating comfortably and felt hot from the inside out.

I think this practice is really suitable for office workers. It's a little like Taichi, aka Shadow Boxing, but far more simple. It's also a system of deep breathing exercises, but it just takes you 12 minutes to practice.

In short, it's easy, brief and efficient.

I'll tell you more about its history next time.

When you said "eight trigrams" my head immediately went to Naruto lol. But how interesting! Maybe I should also practice this. I find myself very busy more often than not, and it's always good to keep a healthy life

I added the word "lingering" to my word list today. It's really a good one to describe my problems after COVID.

QUESTION: Are they part of tai chi? (Or different from tai chi?)

You're welcome. Thank you for the corrections and feedback!

While traveling in Mount Lu, one of my best friends showed me the Eight Trigrams Boxing, which she practiceds every morning.

You might also say "some techniques from Eight Trigrams Boxing"
If you say "she practiced every morning" it seems like she does not practice anymore; "she practices every morning" = it is still part of her daily routine

We both had some little problems after getting COVID-19, but, obviously, she recovered much better (faster?) than me, even though I did so much to help myself.

- If you include not-necessary information, surround it with commas (in this case, you could delete "obviously" and the sentence still is 100% logical)
- You can use — to interrupt a sentence and show your own comment / how you feel about it

So, I have started practicing the Eight Trigrams Boxing since the first day I returned to Shanghai.

- Generally speaking, we don't use the/a/an with the names of practices — I practice karate/jiu-jitsu/Buddhism/Islam/piano/etc, no articles necessary
- Past vs present perfect is a bit difficult to separate... but in this case, since you are pointing to a specific point where you made the decision to start practicing, I think it sounds more natural with simple past. (ex: My friend studies ETB. She has been practicing since she was 12 years old. Inspired, I started practicing, too, as soon as our trip ended.)

I feel so good and have ain great spirits after boxing every day, and the most amazing part is that my heart rate stayed around 80 the whole time while, even though I was sweating comfortabprofusely and felt hot from the inside out.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Have a nice practice!

While traveling in Mount Lu, one of my best friends showed me the Eight Trigrams Boxing, which she practiced every morning.

Adding a subject to the first half ("while we/I were/was travelling in Mount Lu, ...") would make it easier to read and sound more natural.

I feel so good and have a great spiritenergized after boxing every day, a. And the most amazing part is that my heart rate stayed around 80 the whole time while, and on top of that, I was sweating comfortably and felt hota charge of energy heating me from the inside out.

原来There's a tiny difference between "obviously" and "apparently": 理所当然与显然的区别!我一直以为两个词完全是同一个意思呢。

I'm sorry that I let AI white the Chinese text for me after I gave it the English version.

Normally, I check the words before submitting. But it was a little busy today, and I missed several mistakes. I sincerely apologize for the confusion.
