Nice name Taca. My name’s Derek, nice to meet you. Hey I’ve been sharing poetry here and I was wondering if you’d like to see it and maybe share it? I wrote it a while ago, but I put together a little preamble:
Indonesia, kinda an ear bleeder. Kinda got a lot of islands, huh? Nah it’s a good name. I’m not lookin for any dames, I swears it! And no I don’t got a lot. Just one. Better listen up Indonesia! Her name is Grace, she’s not a dame (don’t have any), she’s my girl, and I’m a yandlez, kinda cray cray - here’s the poem:
Empty words are empty, and there are empty words aplenty. Plenty time to hope and dream, but it always runs out of steam. Steam rises then it fades, dusk to dawn, another day. Day has only so many hours, abandon love, go after power. Power fuels the dreams you seek, but without love, you might be a little mean. Mean streak, looking bleak, climb the peak and go a little higher. What you speak is what you seek, the words are empty, love and power.
