What errors have you run into besides this one?

Submitting posts is slow, to the point that it times out like 1 time in 5 and just gives a 502 Gateway Timeout page.

Submitting corrections too, but they fail a little less often than posts.

It has been this way since the new word split algorithm change, not sure if it’s directly related

The new sentence parser (wtpsplit) is more accurate but also heavier than the old one. Every time a new worker spins up, it has to load it.

Right now it runs synchronously, which can cause timeouts on longer posts… although I haven’t seen many logs for timeouts… 😓

I’m planning to move the segmentation to a background task so submissions return immediately, but that requires some additional changes on my end, so it’ll take a bit.

I wonder if these timeouts are/were only visible on Cloudflare and not on your backend? Like the backend was still running and processing but Cloudflare timed out the request and displayed the 502 page.

Anyway, today's post seemed to go through faster at least.
