Feel free to totally ignore this correction if this is meant to be very informal. I've simply corrected it to make it more formal. Although, "the" before restaurant implies there is just one specific, special restaurant. But if it could be any one of a number of restaurants, I'd remove the "the" and make "restaurant" plural to say "...to eat at restaurants."

If you mean two different books, this is more natural. However, if the book is both action and romantic, then I'd probably say "a romantic action book." Also, before any words which start with a vowel sound (a,e,i,o,u), "a" becomes "an" so that it is easier to say in spoken English. Saying "a action" out loud feels awkward to me.
