Dune
Il y a quelques mois, j'ai regardé le film (Dune), et je suis tombé amoureux de l'histoire.
Alors, j'ai décidé de lire Dune.
Je l'ai fini de lire hier.
L'histoire du livre est plus complexe que celle du film.
Dune est maintenant mon roman de sci-fi préféré.

I should say that "science-fiction" is almost always abbreviated to "SF" in French, and not "sci-fi" (this is just a subtle matter of usage, it's not really a mistake in itself)

Thank you for the correction i always forget to feminize the verbs when iam writing it is still foreign to me :)

When the subject is "je", sentences remain understandable, but if you have several male and female characters ("il" and "elle") forgetting to feminize adjectives and past participles can get confusing quite quickly. But such habits come with time, don't worry!
