A tv news program said on the other day that dry nose was going around Japan then. I've never heard of dry nose though I've heard of dry eye. Using air conditioners or heaters, nose function would get weak, in the end you could get a symptom that the inside of the nose is always dried. A doctor said on the tv that this can trigger the flu.

I always hear it said as "a dry nose" rather than "dry nose," so the latter sounds strange to my ears. I don't think this is a necessary correction, though. Your sentence is fine and makes sense as it is. (:
