Dragonfly

I've been interested in dragonflies recently.
While previous trip, I could see many dragonflies, because I went to countryside.
The end of August seems to be dragonfly season.
There were various kind of dragonflies, like orange one, blue and big one, blue and thin one, and black one etc...
It was like a dragonfly kingdom.


最近、トンボに興味があります。
この間の旅行では、田舎に行ったので、沢山トンボが見れました。
8月の下旬はトンボの季節みたいです。
オレンジ色のや青くて大きいの、青くて細いの、黒いのなどいろんな種類がいました。
まるでトンボの王国のようでした。

WhileOn a previous trip to the countryside, I could see many dragonflies, because I went to countryside.

"While" is often used with a verb like saying "While I was visiting the countryside"

There were various kind of dragonflies, likeincluding orange ones, blue and big one, blue and thin one, andig blue ones, thin blue ones, black ones etc...

When giving general examples, we often use the plural forms.
If you want to emphasize that you only saw one of each kind, make sure to include the article and say "including an orange one, a big blue one etc..."

'i could see' could work here, but 'i saw' is more natural

colours would go after the adjectives here!

It was like a dragonfly kingdom.
