Today my mom came back from her hometown, i. It was a four day trip.

My brother made coffee, and thenshe told us about all the things she saw, and all the things that changed over time.

The last time she went to her hometown it was almost forty years ago, so, many things were different, but she was happy; exhausted, but happy.

I could picture her smiling throughout those days remembering the things she thought she had forgotten.

But the happy mood changed in the blink of an eye when she saw the pile dirty dishes we didn't do piled up during those five days.

In my defense I was going to take care of them later that night, I swear!
