Do you sleep lying face down or on your back?

I sleep on my side because I have fairly bad back pain lately. Since I bought new mattress a year ago, my back has been getting better. People often say exercise is good for my body health, but my hobby is oil painting, so I have no idea how should I do.

Corrections

Do you sleep lying face down or on your back?

I sleep on my side because I'm haveing fairly bad back pain lately.

Since "lately" is used, it should be in the present continuous tense.

Since I bought a new mattress a year ago, my back has been getting better.

You bought only one mattress, so "a" particle should also be there

People often say exercise is good for my body health, but my hobby is oil painting, so I have no idea how I should I do it.

Incorrect word order. There should also be "it" at the end of the sentence
