Recently, all the food selling platforms are having a buzi war against each other, which benefits us consumers a lot—We get so many coupons for ordering takeouts. Not that I'm a fan of eating takeout, but it did save me some money. And most importantly, time. I don't cook, so I eat out. But it takes me more than 10 minutes to get to the restaurant I usually eat at. Back and forth, that adds up to nearly half an hour. Nevertheless, I believe every free luch(?) has a consequence. When the war is over and the backdrop goes down, maybe it's the time we pay double.

I think the phrase you want is “there’s no such thing as a free lunch.”
WheIn the war is over and the backdrop goes down, maybe it's the time weend, we might end up having to pay double.
I get your point here, but this sounds unnatural. You could say “when all is said and done,” or “at the end of the day,” or “in the end.”
