Do you have a sweet tooth?

I love sweets. There are many various sweets in Japan, and everything is tasty and affordable. However, I often drink an espresso with sugar, so I refrain from taking more sugar these days because I’m afraid of diabetes. What sweets are there in your country?

There are chocolate biscuits, chocolate drink, candies, and soda drinks. I don't really like taking candies, but I like taking soda drinks.

Here I'd say it's best to use no article with "espressos"
I reworded it slightly to make it a bit clearer what you meant - someone reading this could interpret it as "when I eat sweets, I have an espresso".

Good job, your writing was clear and easy to understand.
In Britain we call candy (あめ) "sweets", so a British person might think of lollipops and gummies. However, I believe you're using the word with a wider meaning (eg: cakes, and so on). I quite like carrot cake.

Well, I have watched many people drink espresso with and without sugar over the years, so I feel compelled to jump in and say that, for me,
"I often drink an espresso with sugar" doesn't have the same meaning as "I often add sugar to my espressos."

"I often drink an espresso with sugar." To me, this means @TOMO_o drinks espresso often, and every time he drinks a cup of espresso, he puts sugar in it.

"I often add sugar to my espressos" To me, this means that sometimes the speaker doesn't add sugar to his espresso. (If he added it every time, then he would say "I always add" sugar)

In my experience, people do not tend to add sugar sometimes but not others when they order or make espresso.
