Boss monkey

I read an interesting article in the newspaper this morning. It said as follows: A boss monkey in Takasakiyama changed recently. There is a mountain called Takasakiyama in Oita. A troop of monkeys lives there. This time, a female monkey became boss for the first time. Are females becoming stronger in both human and monkey societies?
