The other day, I went to a cemetery in the suburbs of Tokyo for the second of
anniversary of my mother’s passing.
We asked a buddhist monk to recite sutras.
The monk asked my brother what buhhist sect we belong to.
My brother answered he didn’t know. I didn’t know either.
Looking around, not a few tombs were covered with thick weeds.
My old friend H is an eldest son and single,he told me he was considering
to dismantle his (family) tomb, but was worrying about the cost.
Because of low birthrate and aging society problem, it seems people
who need to dismantle their tombs are increasing.

Feedback
I didn't know about this situation in Japan. It seems very sad that the rapidly aging population and low birthrate in Japan has made it difficult to care for graves properly.
