Describing Colour to a Blind Person

Prompt: How would you describe your favourite colour to a blind person?

I thought about it some time ago. I also wondered about how can one visualise a colour that one hasn't seen before. That is an impossible task. It is like imagining what had existed before the universe started expanding, or a fish reasoning how physics work outside its pond. I came to the conclusion that our mind is not capable of conceiving things it has never experienced. In that regard, the human intelligence still has room for improvement.

To the question above, I don't think it is possible to describe a colour to a blind person who hasn't previously experienced that particular colour. If the person became blind during its lifetime, then it would be possible because the person might remember the colour.

“Minds are” as with the word our it is plural

Not incorrect but the “the” isn’t really needed.

“Their” because they’re a human, generally speaking calling a human “it” is used in an insulting way.

I used "its" because "person" is singular, and I didn't realize I could use "their" for a singular noun. I will remember that!
