Hace unas semanas que no tomo yerba mate, aunque me gusta. La verdad es que no es muy diferente del té. La yerba se pone en una taza o mate, se le agrega agua caliente y la bebida se toma con un carrizo llamado bombilla, que permite tomar el mate sin que la yerba sea ingerida por accidente.

It’s been a few weeks since I last drank yerba mate, even though I like it. To be honest, it’s not very different from tea. You put the yerba in a cup or a mate gourd, add hot water, and you drink it with a straw called a bombilla, which lets you drink the mate without accidentally swallowing the yerba.
