Depicting a random moment

No matter how stressful life gets, drawing always brings me back to myself. I often draw in my free time at home, during break time at school or even when I am waiting at the swimming pool for my cousins. Drawing helps me relaxed during awkward moments or when I am feeling extremely anxious. I have very vague memories of how I learned to draw but I would always be thankful to that one person who helped me discovered my passion.
Recently, I tend to sketch a lot of people's faces and eyes. They say "eyes are the window to the soul"; as a romantic art lover, I think that's correct. Every time I looked at people's expressions for a reference, I can't help but become fascinated by traces of different feelings in their eyes. The more you stare at them, the more you discover the hidden emotion lies deep behind them. I try to convey those specific feeling and mood in my sketches and add more emphasis on the expression of the characters. It has been my fixation for the past few weeks. As each pencil stroke moves across the paper, I was intrigued to find out how it would help to depict my conception of each emotion.
However, not every moment was enjoyable and exciting. There were a few times I was frustrated by how my art doesn't turn out as i imagined. But I am content. Sometimes, the most brilliant things take time to happen.

They say "eyes are the windows to the soul"; as a romantic art lover, I think that's correct.

Every time I looked at people's expressions for a reference, I can't help but become fascinated by traces of different feelings in their eyes.

The more you stare at them, the more you discover the hidden emotion that lies deep bewithind them.

Or, "the more you discover that a hidden emotion lies deep within them"

I try to convey those specific feelings and moods in my sketches and I also try to add more emphasis ton the expression of the characters.

"And add" is not a mistake, it could be acceptable or undetectable in fast, casual speech, it's just that it reads like it needs a little something 'extra' here

It has been my fixation for the past few weeks.

Obsession works too

As each pencil stroke movesd across the paper, I was intrigued to find outbecame more and more intrigued as to how it would help to depict my conception of each emotion.

However, not every moment was enjoyable and exciting.

There were a few times where I was frustrated by howthe fact that my art doesidn't turn out as ihow I imagined.

As I imagined is generally fine, with the changes "how" sounds more natural though

But I am content.

Sometimes, the most brilliant things take time to happen.
