There is a new coronavirus patient one grades ahead of me.
The boy didn’t come to school today, but we are in the same bubble, so we were forced to go back to our home after having lunch.
英語の"comma"は日本語の読点よりよく使われています。
Outside of that, there were no grammatical mistakes. However, instead of "The boy", I would probably use "He". ("The boy" isn't incorrect, but in English you would usually just use a pronoun in this kind of situation).
Feedback
I think the second sentence felt a little long. There were not many grammar mistakes, but the overall writing style felt a little unnatural at times (e.g. "the boy" vs "he").
