These interactions with people around the world who have the same purpose, in this case, learning a language, are amazing because you feel more comfortable making mistakes. When you make mistakes, it means you are learning. I also think that people are more willing to make corrections/suggestions that they wouldn't otherwise make for fear of coming off as rude/it would take too long to correct. Like, it's not practical or even necessarily nice to correct every sentence someone says to you while you're talking, but here it's expected. Which I think makes learning correct/natural grammar so much easier!
