Day Twelve: Jordan Trip Part Six

Such a reckless and multitasking driver I had never seen in my life. He was driving pretty fast, eating noodles from the box with both hands and driving with his knees, he still found time to stare at us, then through the rearview mirror, and then turn around.
We asked P to pretend to be our husband and do our best to convince the driver that we were all married, and the guy in the front seat was our husband.
I don't know if he believed us, but when he was done with the noodles, he carried on staring. When he realized that words in English were not enough to communicate with us, he started to meaw. All his attention was riveted to a girl with plump lips. Just look at her face you were able to see how insecure she felt at that moment.
10 or 15 minutes of uncomfortable ride and we were close the to hotel. As usual, we bought some alcohol in a liquor store nearby where sellers recognized us and welcomed us with open arms.

A little off the top. In the previous parts, I told you about the hotel staff who I asked for a name because I'm a friendly person. The next day he followed us to the beach and he treated me and my friends to beverage and here's what happened next.

In the hotel room, my friend and I found two baskets of fruits and cookies with a note "hope you had a great time in the beach. There is a little present from the hotel"
"count your panties" - my friend told me.

Well, I was told that I need to be careful with some friendly gestures before, they told me that it can be misunderstood and I'll tell you this story letter.

That day I stayed in the hotel room instead of hanging out with friends by the pool because I knew, that I'd meet that guy, and all of it was quite awkward.

At the end of the trip, I got used to people gawking at me and stopped being scared by wearing a T-shirt and shorts. They were just starting and probably nasty discussing me but nobody had the intention to touch or do something mean.
I even had a conversation with that staff guy about what happened. I apologized and explained that my intention wasn't to seduce or draw attention to myself.

I would say that it wasn't the best trip in my life but quite experienced. I made new friends I learned how things and how to behave in countries like that.

Corrections

Day Twelve: Jordan Trip Part Six

Such a reckless and multitasking driver I had never seen in my life.

He was driving pretty fast, eating noodles from the box with both hands and driving with his knees, h. He still found time to stare at us, thenfirst through the rearview mirror, and then by turning around.

"he still found time to stare at us, then through the rearview mirror, and then turn around." - Made some assumptions for the correction (like he is being progressively more obvious with the staring). You could also say that he "stared over his shoulder" since he is not turning his whole body around (I hope!).

We asked P to pretend to be our husband and doid our best to convince the driver that we were all married, andall of us were the wives of the guy in the front seat was our husband.

The original is technically correct, but a little confusing at first (maybe because I haven't looked at the previous part) because I wasn't sure who "we" was. I also think using husband twice is a bit repetitive so I've offered an alternative.

I don't know if he believed us, but when he was done with the noodles, he carried on staring.

When he realized that words in English were not enough to communicate with us, he started to meaow.

Did you mean meow? Like a cat?

All his attention was riveted to a girl with plump lips.

Technically correct, but just using "a girl" suggests you don't know her. If you do know her I would suggest using a qualifier like her name or "[my friend], a girl"...

Just by looking at her face you were able tocould see how insecure she felt at that moment.

After 10 or 15 minutes of this uncomfortable ride and, we were close the too the hotel.

Or: 10 or 15 minutes of discomfort and we were close to the hotel.

As usual, we bought some alcohol in a liquor store nearby where the sellers recognized us and welcomed us with open arms.

A little off the top.

Do you mean "A little off-topic"?

In the previous parts, I told you about the hotel staff whomember whose name I asked for a name because I'm a friendly person.

Just "hotel staff" implies all of the staff or multiple people.

The next day he followed us to the beach and he, treated me and my friends to beveragedrinks, and here's what happened next.

In the hotel room, my friend and I found two baskets of fruits and cookies with a note: "hHope you had a great time inat the beach.

"

Well, I was told that I needed to be careful with some friendly gestures before, they told me that it can because they could be misunderstood and. I'll tell you this story letater.

"they could be misunderstood" refers to "friendly gestures" which is plural.

That day I stayed in the hotel room instead of hanging out with friends by the pool because I knew, that I'd meet that guy, and all of it was quite awkward.

Great story, and what a trip! Those guys are creepy, but I'm glad nothing bad happened.
