One note here - in English, we say either "math" if you are US/Canada or "maths" in the rest of the world. Both are correct, but in your post you first say maths and later say math, so you need to stick to your choice.

Same note as above for math/maths, but in this case I would omit the word entirely for redundancy's sake since we already know you are talking about math from the previous sentence
