Day 4: Does Marge Have Friends?

One of my favorite poems is about Marge Simpson. You may think that It's sounds ridiculous to write a poem about this character. However, I assure you that is one of the most beautiful that I have ever read and also the saddest one. This poem was written by the same creator of Bojack Horseman, also another master piece by the way. So I'm going to show you my favorite parts of this poem.

Marge felt the sharp grass on her feet, the breeze on her face.
Over the fence she saw Maude, pale as a sheet, her eyes wet
with tears.

Marge looked to her— “Maude?” and Maude shook her head.

And Maude whispered this: “It’s not the calm before the storm
that frightens me. It’s the calm that follows.”

This poem is about loneliness. You can talk to a lot of people and still feel lonely. You can be really popular among your classmates or coworkers and still feel lonley. It's a beautiful poem and I read it from time to time. I would like to be able to write something as good as this poem someday in the future. If you want to read the whole poem, the title is "Does Marge Have Friends?" you can easily find it on google. Thanks for reading
