Day 3 - Coming back to routine
After Christmas we all have to come back to our daily life.
I think that this could be more challenging for kids since they have a total break during this season. They not only have a break at school but also have a completely different life during this period, for example, the excitement of Santa Claus, gifts, sweets, having family over at home and so on. Thus, it might be difficult for them leave all this behind and come back to school.
However, for parents, this might be slightly different. Although we enjoy having this time in family it requires a huge effort and a lot of preparation. Therefore, we relish these moments with the kids though but we also feel a kind of a relieve when we see the end of the season and we can come back to normality. I think it’s a bittersweet feeling, on one hand you have more time to relax and on the other one you want to keep seeing faces of happiness, surprise and excitement.
