Day 2 Grammar practice

-Last night, I used up all of her lipsticks. She got mad after she found it in the rubbish bin.

-The rest of his life will be full of regret, as he was unable to help his son at that very moment when the house was on fire.

-We are happy about the party was really successful but not the time to pay the piper!

-I really hope to know how has Mary been since we had graduated from high school.

-I have been doing ceramic when I studied in university. I found I do enjoy those years when I keep making pottery and learning about Art.

Corrections

-Last night, I used up all of her lipsticks.

"Lipsticks" would be correct only if there were multiple tubes of lipstick and you used up all the tubes.

She got mad afterwhen she found ithe empty tube in the rubbish bin.

I switched "after" to "when" because "when" makes it clearer that she was mad to find the empty tube. Replaced "it" with "the empty tube" for the sake of clarity.

-The rest of his life will be full of regret, as he was unable to help his son at that very moment when the house was on fire.

-We are happy abouthat the party was really successfulent well, but not the time to pay the piper!

I don't really understand the last part of this sentence. "The party went well" sounds more natural to me than "the party was successful." You could also say "the party was a success."

-I really hope to know how has Marywonder how Mary has been since we had graduated from high school.

"I wonder" just sounds more natural to my ear.

-I have been doing ceramic whens since I studied in university.

I found I do enjoyOver those years when I keep, I've enjoyed making pottery and learning about Aart.

"Art" isn't capitalized because it isn't a proper noun.

Feedback

Good job! I hope my comments were helpful.

Day 2 Grammar practice

-Last night, I used up all of her lipsticks.

"lipstick" or "lipsticks" can be correct as the plural form here. Usually "lipsticks" is only used when referring to a specific set or type of lipstick. For example: "The lipsticks contain shea butter to smooth and protect the lips, along with rose petal extracts, almond and jojoba oil." Lipsticks fits better in this example because it is referring to a specific kind.

Also for "it" in the next sentence to be correct, this sentence has to use "lipstick". If you want to keep "lipsticks" the next sentence should be: "She got mad after she found them in the rubbish bin."

She got mad after she found it in the rubbish bin.

-The rest of his life will be full of regret, as he was unable to help his son at that very moment when the house was on fire.

-We are happy about the party wasbeing really successful, but not the time toabout paying the piper!

Or: "We are happy that the party was really successful, but not that we had to pay the piper!"

The original sentence is somewhat confusing and I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say.

-I really hope to know how has Mary has been since we had graduated from high school.

More concise: "I want to know how Mary has been since we graduated from high school."

-I have been doingdid ceramics when I studied in university.

Or: "I have been doing ceramics since I studied in university."

I found I do enjoyed those years when I keept making pottery and learning about Aart.

Or: "I find I enjoy the years when I keep making pottery and learning about Art."

The time periods for the combination of your last two sentences is too murky. If you are talking about the past then use the corrections, if the present then the "Or" versions I wrote.

Good job!
