Day 15

The problem of population aging is an economic problem and the elderly’s mental health problem. If our society continues to rapidly age, the labor force is predicted to be decrease. If the working-age population decreases, the economy may stagnate and have difficulty in developing.

Day 15

The problem ofwith an aging population aging is an economic problem and a problem for the elderly’s mental health problem.

Sounds more natural for the first part, and I believe this is what you meant by "and the elderly's mental health problem."

If our society continues to rapidly age, the labor force is predicted to be decrease.

If the working-age population decreases, the economy may stagnate and have difficulty in developing.

Both would be correct, with or without the "in." Including the "in" sounds slightly more formal.

When I wrote 'the elderly's mental health problem', I wondered whether an aging society may affect the elderly's mental health in a negative way. I meant if the labor force decrease-> Will it affect to the pension fund/ social insurance for the elderly?-> Will that affect the elderly's mental health?
Anyway, these are just my personal thoughts, I still have to think, read more books, and correct my thoughts.
Thank you so much for your question.
