Feb. 20, 2023
Hi everybody!
Today I woke up at 6:30 am and I did my daily Duolingo lesson. After that, I went downstairs to eat my breakfast. Then I went out to see my pets. At 8 am I went back to my house and I did a little part of my homework. That was boring 😴
At noon, I ate lunch with my family. Me and my father had cooked a wok. It was really nice.
Then I read a book called The Circle.
Now I am writing to you. I hope you had a good day. I think that even if you had a bad day, you have to be happy and enjoy the present.
Goodbye 👋
Day 12 Journaling
Today I woke up at 6:30 am and I did my daily Duolingo lesson.
Duo is really effective at making people use it every day, huh? It works on me, at least. lol
Then I went outside to see my pets.
If you are saying you are leaving the house but staying close, I would use "outside" instead of "out" to make that clear. Using "out" usually signals that you are going somewhere farther, e.g., going to town.
At 8 am I went back to my house and I did a little parbit of my homework.
"a little part" works but we say "a little bit" about things all the time
At noon, I ate lunch with my family.
Me and my father had cooked with a wok.
Something feels missing with this sentence - you should say what you cooked. E.g., we cooked chicken with a wok / we cooked lunch with a wok, or even we cooked it with a wok (since you just mentioned lunch)
It was really nice.
Then I read a book called The Circle.
Now I am writing to you.
I hope you had a good day.
I think that even if you had a bad day, you have to be happy and enjoy the present.
