Another book that I'm also reading is The Tale of Genji. It's a long book and right now I'm on Chapter Five. I started reading it because almost all the poems in this book are Somonka and also because it's the first novel in all human history. The story is about a Young king called Genji (who falls in love with almost evey girl that he see) and his disillusion and life as king. The poetry of this book its the best part, but I can't say the same of the story because some parts of the book are uncomfortable. This book was written in the year 1008 and in this year the people in Japan had other customs. I will keep reading it, but if I find another weird thing I'm going to stop reading it, the book it's not explicit but you can easly understand that something weird is happening. I don't recommend this book but only if you are interested in Japanese poetry and history. The synopsis says that the story changes of protagonist in some chapters fortunately, so I hope that it will be more enjoyable in the next chapters. By the way this is a poem that I wrote in Spanish and this is the translation:
Why the flower
that it's hidden in my chest
doesn't bloom and shows
the beautiful colors
of the love that I feel for you?
I wrote this poem thinking that for some people is hard to express their feelings because they are frightened of being rejected.

Sometimes people will use "disillusion" by itself as a noun, but it's very common to give a reason for the disillusionment, such as:
"He became disillusioned with his job."
"We were disillusioned when we saw how the movie star acted in real life."
"His disillusionment with education was due to a number of factors."
The poetry of this book its the best part, but I can't say the same of the story because some parts of the book are uncomfortable/unsettling.
