Tonight, I saw a little mouse sneaking along the wall in my room. I suddenly froze, not wanting to startle it, and watched to see where it was going. As if sensing my gaze, the little thing darted away and disappeared in no time. I have no idea how it got into the house. I locked the door, turned on my phone's flashlight, and moved stuff and furniture around to look for it. The thing is, even if I could find it, it would be hard to catch it alive or get rid of it without making the mess on the floor. Thankfully, I got a professional to handle the situation—I carried my cat into the room. She looked a bit confused at first, so I poked behind the closet, forcing the little creature to flee under the bed. My cat spotted it instantly, leapt onto it, and finished it nice and clean.
Thank you for revising my writing. I'd appreciate any revision that would make my writing more natural.
