Day 1
Hello,
I'm new here and I will try to write everyday about my day.
First, I'm going to present myself. I'm an engineering from Madrid, Spain. I'm doing this because I would like to improve my English comunication skills. Altough I'm perfectly capable of understand English, my writting skills (and speaking) are not so developed.
About my day today, i dont have much to say, it had been a day like any other. I woke early up to go to work. It had been a very hot week here in Spain, specially in Madrid with maximum temperatures near 40ºC. The good news are that this is my last week of work before going on a 3 three weeks holidays, so I'm happy in this sense. I will talk about my holidays in future diary entries.

"present oneself" is used for formal situations and doesn't mean quite the same thing as "introduce". "Present oneself" has closer to the same meaning as "appear" or "behave". "He presents himself well" means that he behaves in a way that makes other people like and respect him. "Tips for Presenting Yourself in a Professional Manner" means tips for interacting with your colleagues and business associates in a professional way, not tips for meeting them in a professional way.
Although I'm perfectly capable of understanding English, my writting skills (and speaking) skills are not so developed.

"Everyday" is an adjective; use "every day" if you are talking about frequency.
First, I'm going to present myself.
I'm an engineering from Madrid, Spain.
I'm doing this because I would like to improve my English communication skills.
Altough I'm perfectly capable of understanding English, my writting skills (and speaking) are not so developed.
"Write" becomes "writing" because the I is a long vowel here (i.e. it makes the same sound as the name of the vowel).
About my day today, iI don't have much to say,; it hads been a day like any other.
"Had been" is the pluperfect should be used when the narration is in the past and you are referring to an event further back in time. Depending on when you are saying this, "has been" or "was" would be acceptable.

The week hasn't finished yet, so we need to use the present perfect.
