我们买了大概20张唱片，一些新唱片和一些二手唱片。

为什们么呢？

While traveling in Japan, my boyfriend and I bought a lot of vinyl records. Why? First, because Tokyo has so many large music stores. One in Shibuya has eight floors. They have a huge variety. Second, the exchange rate between Australia and Japan is good right now, so things are cheaper there (also because many Australians travel to Japan).

We bought about 20 records, some new and some used.
