Yesterday, I’ve finished reading the book titled The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie. I read it in English and it’s been my first book of this amazing author.
I have to say I wasn’t pretty sure about reading this book, as the main reason lying behind was to increase my vocabulary in English and the book was written a long time ago. Nevertheless, after finishing it I’m very happy because the writing style and the vocabulary used in it is very clear. The way the author presents the ideas is fantastic and pretty straightforward which makes it easy to understand. Some words are out of fashion though, the outcome in general is good and I totally recommend it to English learners.
Anyway, the book is short so if you never read any book by this author but have the curiosity, this book might be a good first one. I hope you can enjoy it as much as I did.
