Nostro padre

Ieri sera ho telefonato a mio fratello dopo tanto tempo. Mi ha detto che oggi nostro padre subirà un intervento agli occhi e che avrebbe parlato con il medico per ricevere una spiegazione.
Sono rimasto sorpreso. Mi ha detto che mi avrebbe richiamato dopo aver parlato con il medico.

昨夜久しぶりに弟に電話をした。明日父が目の手術するので医師から説明を聞くことになっていると言った。びっくりした。それが終わったら電話してくれることになった。I called my younger brother last night for the first time in a while. He told me that our father is going to have eye surgery tomorrow and that he would be meeting with the doctor to receive an explanation about the procedure. I was surprised to hear that. He said he would call me again after it was over.
