Creative Job

As a web developer, sometimes I feel very exhausted, not physically, but mentally.
When the day ends, I need to space out for a while to make my brain rest. Still, I enjoy this job, writing code is like solving a puzzle and allows for creative expression.
I have watched an interview, Brandon Sanderson said he had to quit coding because it is too similar to writing a novel. Both have to build something in a creative way to make others satisfied. Coding fulfill his urge to write a novel and made him mentally exhausted, so he needed to quit it to prioritize his novel.
In his opinion, jobs less brain-consuming, like waiter or laborer, would be more suitable for those who want to create after work.
But in my case, I only find fulfillment in a mentally creative job. I had worked in a restaurant, where I had to handle both front-of-house and back-of-house duties, and this job drained me. (Also, I suck at it, they kept me out of the kitchen as possible. I could make a Hell's Kitchen on my own.)

Creative Job

As a web developer, I sometimes I feel vermentally exhausted, not physically, but mentally.

I edited this sentence to sound more natural and be more concise.

When the day ends, I need to space outdo nothing for a while to make my brain restrecover/I need to mentally recover.

I gave some suggestions on how to rephrase the sentence. Personally, it doesn't sound natural to say that you want your brain to rest. It's grammatically correct, but it sounds awkward.

Still, I enjoy this job,; writing code/coding is like solving a puzzle and allows for creative expression.

I added a suggestion to rephrase your sentence. Your sentence is almost grammatically correct, but you can break up this sentence into two separate ones.

I have watched an interview, with Brandon Sanderson saidwhere he stated that he had to quit coding because it is too similar to writing a novel.

Both have to build something in a creative waly to make others satisfiedsatisfy others.

Coding fulfilled his urge to write a novel andbut made him mentally exhausted, so he needed to quit it to prioritize his novel.

In his opinion, jobs less brain-consumingless mentally demanding jobs, like waiter or laborer, would bare more suitable for those who want to create after work.

But in my case, I only find fulfillment in a mentally creative job.

I had worked in a restaurant, where I had to handle both front-of-house and back-of-house duties, and this job drained me.

(Also, I sucked at it, they kept me out of the kitchen as possible. I could make a Hell's Kitchen on my own.)¶

I combined both sentences since both of them are in parentheses. I'm assuming that you stopped working at the restaurant job, so you should use the past tense of suck.

Thank you for the detailed corrections!

The original is okay. Here is one alternative: As a web developer, sometimes I feel very exhausted, --not physically, but mentally.

NOTE: Since the original had 3 commas in 1 sentence, I used a dash (--) mark. Sometimes the dash mark (--) act in the same way as a comma.

When the day ends, I need to space out for a while to makehelp my brain rest.

ALSO POSSIBLE: When the work day ends, I need to space out for a while to rest.

Still, I enjoy this job, writing code is like solving a puzzle and allows for creative expression.

I haveRecently I watched an interview, with Brandon Sanderson, who said he had to quit coding because it is too similar to writing a novel.

COMMENT: There might be with the name "Brandon Sanderson." Are you writing about the novelist Brandon Sanderson (https://www.brandonsanderson.com/) [Cf/. https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/布蘭登·山德森 ]

Both have to build something in acoding and novel writing use creative ways to make others satisfied.

如果他仍然有这样的感觉,也许现在时可能会更好: Coding fulfills his urges to write a novels and madekes him mentally exhausted, so he often feels a neededs to quit it to prioritize hison novel writing.

LOGIC: It might true he makes more money as a novelist than a coder. It seems that many of his novels have been translated into many languages, so his decision to focus on novel writing might be financial.

In his opinion, jobs less brain-consuming, like being a waiter or laborer, would be more suitable for those who want to create after work.

ALSO POSSIBLE: But in my case, I only find fulfillment in a mentally creative jobs.

The plural might be better in this case.

I hadve worked in a restaurant, where I had to handle both front-of-house and back-of-house duties, and this job drained me.

(Also, ,since I sucked at it, they kept me out of the kitchen as possible.

I could make a Hell's Kitchen on my own.)

Thanks for sharing. I need to meditate about 30 minutes after work to clean my mind. Sometimes junk thoughts fill my mind, but sometimes good insights also arise.
