Since we had arrived in Chai we had enjoyed unbroken sunshine. But since last week it had rained continuously and we had been soaked to the skin. The trees are quite tall and thick here. I can’t imagine how dark the room is if we are living on the ground floor of the flat. Fortunately, we live on a high floor which boasts fantastic view of the street. On a sunny day you can even see the far mountains.
When I just moved home here, my friend helped to bring the luggages which I had sent to him from Beijing. He drove the car to the underground lot where we found the lift is broken. It was really dark and damp which I hadn’t known until then. We had to return on the ground. My friend said this neighborhood is crapy. I was surprised because it was way better than my former one.
