Jan. 5, 2021
This new year in France began with a certain delay in the policy of struggle versus the covid 19, especially about the vaccinations.
I'm not a scientist, a doctor, a specialist or in any case an expert in disease, just a standard citizen who is trying to understand what's happening these days and what could be the best way to get better in this complicated world.
For me the last experience regarding a pandemic was the H1N1 flu in 2009-2010 and I didn't keep the memory of something really frightening or neither the recollection of a very efficient public policy. By the way, this pandemic wasn't in this country as worrying as the Covid 19. And we didnt get a lockdown or/and the threat of a huge economic crisis
Anyway, nowadays in 2021 I think we don't have the choice and we have to take advantage of the vaccination .. . (thanks a thousand times to the researchers!). Why ? Maybe for two motives, 1) because this is the good way to protect ourself personnaly, straight like as any disease (even if this is a bit selfish) and 2) because if I don't catch myself the virus that could eradicate the pandemic or, at least, contribute to slow down its spread. This is the meaning of any vaccination, isn't it ? Think to the polio vaccine or yet to the smallpox vaccine...

By "expert in disease", do you mean an "epidemiologist"?
"Who is" is often written/said as "who's".

(thanks a thousand times to the researchers!).
This belongs in the sentence above, (though I think it got cut off by the program).
Why ?
Maybeinly for two motives, 1) because this is thereasons: First off, it's a good way to protect ourself personnaly, straighves, just like as any disease (even if this is a bit selfish) and 2)secondly, because if I don't catch myself the virus, thaten I could help eradicate the pandemic or, at least, contribute to slowing down its spread.

There is not need to include this interrogative statement.
Maybe for two motives, 1) becauseThis is perhaps for two main reasons. First, this is thea good way to protect ourself personnaly, straight like asves, just as we would when faced with any disease (even if this is a bit selfish) and 2) because if I don't catch. Second, if I do not myself catch the virus, that cis would help in eradicateing the pandemic or, at least, contribute to slowing down its spread.
This is the meaning of anywhat vaccination, isn't it ? about.
Think to the polio vaccine or yet to the smallpox vaccine..., for instance, what results the polio and smallpox vaccines helped accomplish.
