Correcting others

It turns out it's surprisingly fun to correct others in your native language! While you help others, you also maintain your own grammar and punctuation skills, not to mention the language's intricacies. I think it's much better than doomscrolling all the way until you go to bed.

This doesn't quite work, since you wouldn't say that you would "maintain ... the language's intricacies." You would probably need to add a verb phrase: "... not to mention [becoming more familiar with] the language's intricacies."

I think it's much better than doomscrolling all the wayright until you go to bed.

Feedback

I totally agree with you. I love correcting other people's texts in English, and I feel much more productive doing this than doomscrolling on social media.
