Conversation about three meals at April 20th, 21th 2022

Could you please help correct anything that's wrong or unnatural in my sentences?
I'd like to learn some common phrases and slang! 🙇‍♂️
And I'd like to get your advice on talking to foreign people

A: I had McDonald's for lunch on the 20th.
B: What did you eat?
A: Double cheeseburger, nuggets and aaple pie. That's the most popular menu in Japan!
What is the most popular menu in the U.S.?


A: On the evening of the 20th, I had "Shouga-yaki, "Takikomi-gohan, and chicken soup with egg and chive.
B: What's "Shoga-yaki"?
A: It's a meal in which pork is fried in a soy sauce with ginger. Ginger is "shoga". "Yaki" is "fried"
B: Oh, I see. Sounds delicious!
What about "takikomi gohan"?
A: Rice cooked with chicken, burdock, carrots, shiitake, and so forth. In water seasoned with soy sauce. The ingredients used vary from household and region.
B: That sounds delicious too!

A: On the morning of the 21st, I had leftover rice from yesterday, skipped lunch, and had sashimi and fried chicken for dinner.
B: What kind of sashimi?
A: Tuna
B: O-toro?
A: No, Akami.
B: Which tastes better, otoro or akami?
A: Depends on the person
O-toro is tasty, but too much fat makes my stomach upset and makes me feel nauseous.lol
