1. Generally speaking, people go to university right after school. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean than a person can’t go to university in elder age and enjoy being a student.
2. Moving out of your parents’ house can be stressful. However, living on your own gives you more freedom to do what you like.
3. Although it’s hard to keep going to the gym regularly, doing so makes your body good-looking and fit.
4. Although I live in a big city, I like to occasionally visit my home town.
5. Studying IELTS can be very demanding task. Nonetheless, it helps you to get a better band score.

"At an older age" sounds more natural that "in elder age" (at least in American English)
