Considering Buying a New Car

It will be difficult to live without a car, so I am planning to buy a new one, which I will give to my daughter when I leave Canada. Yesterday, I made a phone to a local Toyota sales agent, inquiring about some information about buying a car.

I have been driving Toyota vehicles for over 20 years, Toyota is really a reliable and affordable car for me. I'd like to buy a Corolla Hybrid Cross, targeting the 2024 SE model. The entry-level is over $30K, with a bit higher ground clearance than its previous ones (I forget the exact figure), and the remote function can power the car 15 minutes in advance, and other benefits. Surprisingly, when I asked the sales representative what the timeline was to pick it up if I reserved it immediately. She answered me that they usually told their customers would wait for 18 months. I couldn't believe it, I thought they may say 3 months or 6 months, but would never be 18 months.

However, I probably have to reserve it. Because the second-hand cars in the market are not reliable and have the same price as the new ones. While waiting for the new car, I may have to buy an old one and sell it out next year when the new car arrives.

Considering Buying a New Car

It will be difficult to live without a car, so I am planning to buy a new one, which I will give to my daughter when I leave Canada.

Stylistic choice, this sounds a bit formal.

This is not a complete sentence

She answered me that they usually told their customers would wait for 18 months.

You could say “she answered” or “she told me” but you wouldn’t usually say “she answered me”

I couldn't believe it, I thought they may say 3 months or 6 months, but would never behave guessed 18 months.

Because the second-hand cars in the market are not reliable and havare the same price as the new ones.

While waiting for the new car, I may have to buy an old one and sell it out next year when the new car arrives.

Great job! Good luck with the car!

Thank you, I learned that "she answered" is more natural than "she answered me".

Yesterday, I made a phone call to a local Toyota sales agent, inquiring about some information about buying a car.

While waiting for the new car, I may have to buy an old one and sell it out next year when the new car arrives.

That is such a long time to wait! Great writing!

It will be difficult to live without a car, so I am planning to buy a new one, which I wi'll give to my daughter when I leave Canada.

The comma is okay, just not necessary.

Yesterday, I made a phone to a local Toyota sales agent, to inquiring about some information aboute into buying a car.

Just making it more concise.

I have been driving Toyota vehicles for over 20 years,. Toyota imakes really a reliable and affordable cars for me.

Or, "In my opinion, Toyota makes really reliable and affordable cars."
And I agree -- they make excellent vehicles.

I'd like to buy a Corolla Hybrid Cross, targeting the 2024 SE model.

This is good. You can also say, "I'm eyeing the 2024 SE model."

The entry-level model is over $30K, with a bit higher ground clearance than its previous ones (I forget the exact figure), and thewith a remote function that can power the car 15 minutes in advance, andlong with other benefits.

What's surprising is the response so this should be one sentence. I'm not sure if she's telling you that she tells clients there's usually an 18 month wait or not though. While I can read this literally and it makes sense it feels a little wrong.

She answered me that they usually told their customers would wait for 18 months.

I tried not force too many changes but I really would also rewrite the parts referring to what they told you since I'd use language that makes what she's communicating more clear, even if her language wasn't clear.
