Comte de Monte-Cristo
J'ai commencé à lire de "Comte de Monte-Cristo" en français. J'ai bien aimé ça.
Les differences entre la version en français et en anglais. Certains phrases changent dramatiquement sa structure, et parfois même le sens change.
C'est sympa, revenir a cet roman, la dernier fois que j'ai la lu, il y avait environ cinq ans. En particulier, parce que je connais plus de la histoire de France, du Napoleon et de la Revolution française.
Zacząłem czytać "Hrabiego Monte Christo" po francusku. Całkiem mi się to podoba. Szczególnie interesujące są różnice pomiędzy wersją francuską i angielską. Niektóre zdania całkowicie zmieniają swoją strukturę, czasami zmienia się również znaczenie.
Miło jest wrócić do tej powieści, ostatni raz miałem ją w rękach około 5 lat temu. Szczególnie, że wiem teraz więcej o historii Francji, Napoleonie i rewolucji francuskiej.

I started reading The Count of Monte Cristo in French. I like the experience quite a bit. The differences between the French and English versions are particularly interesting. Some sentences completely change their structure, and sometimes the meaning changes as well.
It's nice to come back to this novel, the last time I read it was about 5 years ago. Even more so, since I now know more about French history, Napoleon and the French Revolution.

"changer de" makes it clear the sentences change their own structure ("swoją"). With "SA structure", you would refer to the last quoted singular feminine noun, which is "version"
"dramatiquement" in this sense would be an anglicism

It would be far better to rearrange these sentences so the ideas logically follow each other, like this => La dernière fois que j'ai lu ce roman, c'était il y a environ cinq ans. C'était sympa d'y revenir, en particulier parce que maintenant [...] (coming back to it and the reason why it's nice would be connected in the same sentence)
"plus" can't stand alone as an object, since it's not a substantive, so "en" is added (literally, "I know more of it")
to know a bit/a lot/enough etc about a subject => savoir
about = sur
le/la + silent <h> = le/la+vowel => l'
"Napoléon" is a proper name, so "du" [de+le] is impossible in proper French

The few Polish words I manage to understand thanks to Russian don't allow me to correct in this language, so I corrected in English. Hope it's alright. If you understand French better or are more comfortable with it, I can correct in French in the future.
