As computers translate quickly and accurately, is learning foreign languages is a waste of time?

Some people believe that using computers translate areion is enough to learn a foreign language and do not need to study themstudying isn't needed.

Or: "that using computers to translate is enough"

But, I do not agree with this idea, because those computers translateors are only tools, do not translate meanings, and they use codifyrules made by people.

"codify" is a verb, and definitely doesn't fit here. I'm not sure exactly what you meant.

First of all, a computer or app translateor is only a tool that helps students in order to learn a new language.

"in order" isn't very bad here, but it's unnecessary.

In fact, they are notBut it doesn't actually teaching the language.

Each language is special and works differently to others.

ItThis is due to the translation isbeing word by word, and we know some words in a language can have different meanings, but in our target language canthey might have only one.

This sounds too limiting, like "it can only have one" -> "it's impossible for it to have more than one".

So, the translateor might interpret a different meaning.

For example, when I was studying Chinese, I used to use Google Translate, but the translation from Chinese to my native language, or even to English, sounded so strange to me.

Then, I stopped using translateors and I started learning phrases instead of studying word by word.

I do nowon't list one by onethem all, but there are a lot of them on the web.

To sum up, I do not like to use computers to translate because sometimes the meaning is not accurate.

So, I prefer to learn a new languages in a traditional way instead of relying on computers translateors.
