Communication Skill
People who are poor at chatting or discussion often make fun of themselves by stating that they are "コミュ障 (Lack of communication skill)" in Japanese.
I'm often at a loss for a reply in English online lessons. While appropriate phrases didn't come up with my mind in most cases, sometimes I had nothing to talk with even in Japanese.
I might have to improve not only English conversation skill but also communication skill.

Very nicely crafted. We tend to use 'skills' in the context of conversational/communication skills, rather than the singular 'skill'.
